FAQ

MEMBERS OF JURY

Submit your application. We will evaluate your resume, if we believe you meet the necessary requirements, you will be part of the our database of potential judges. We will then send your name to the festivals subscribed to our website who will be able to contact you to become a member of their jury.

Yes, totally free.

To be eligible for the ranking, you must:

  • Serve as a judge in at least one festival subscribed on Filmfestivaljury.com.
  • Have watched/read and voted for at least two feature films, one short script, and one feature script (this rule does not apply to festivals that do not feature feature films and/or scripts in competition).
  • Have voted for no more than 1,000 films/scripts in total within a month across all the festivals where you served as a judge.
  • Serve as a judge for no more than four festivals. If you are a judge in more than 4 festivals, we will only consider the ranking submitted by the first 4 festivals.
  • The festivals you are a judge for, must have an active subscription to Filmfestivaljury.com.

Each month, the top three judges from each festival subscribed on Filmfestivaljury.com, who have voted for the most films/scripts, will participate in the monthly ranking. The votes for films/scripts are tallied by Filmfestivaljury.com based on the data provided by the festivals themselves.

In the event of a tie, the prize will be evenly divided among the judges.

Filmfestivaljury.com can permanently exclude (ban) a judge from the ranking if a festival reports that the judge has voted on films/scripts they did not actually watch/read.

Participation in the monthly ranking requires you to be a judge for up to 4 festivals.

Minimum: have watched/read and voted for at least two feature films, one short script, and one feature script (this rule does not apply to festivals that do not feature feature films and/or scripts in competition).

Maximum: have voted for no more than 1,000 films/scripts in total within a month across all the festivals where you served as a judge.

At the moment, there are 3 monthly winners: the first three judges who have voted for the most films/scripts.

1st €250

2nd €150

3rd €100

The prizes are expected to increase in the coming months proportionally with the increase in festivals subscribing to the filmfestivaljury.com website.

Of course, it's your free choice, but the work for this festival will not be considered for our ranking.

For potential judges who are subscribed to our site, we will send a constantly updated monthly list of the festivals subscribed to our site.
